Need additional 10x PTZ, V1 or V2?

Need several additional cameras (a few were unwillingly donated to nefarious individuals late one night) and wondering if I should stick with V1 or go for V2 mini 10x PTZ?

I have a V1 mini PTZ 10x's that I have pointed to a street that has cars driving by at 35-45 mph that I'm trying to capture license plates. I have a Hik w/12mm that works and hoping to place 2 additional Huisun mini 10x to work also. Street is dark. Thoughts?

One issue I experience with the V1 mini PTZ 10x (using the Sep 24 build), is that it struggles to focus at night using manual and fast shutter of 600 or 1,000 (auto mode works fine but doesn't allow me to see plates at night). Not sure if V2 improves this?

The V2 hands down from all the info on the forum.

@mjvod I use a V1 to capture the side view of the cars (perpendicular to the street) and a V2 fully zoomed in to 10x @ approximately 80 feet, at about a 45 degree angle and am grabbing tags pretty well day/night. I used the settings in @stoney7713 post above.
