Okay, I am looking for a camera capable of 2-way talk like a ring doorbell. I don't need it to be a video doorbell, because I plan to mount it high up.

I've got an 1831C-PIR mounted about 20 feet from the front door and it's "adequate" for voice/talk using their iDMSS app. They have some new Eco-Savvy 4.0 Active Deterrence models that have a speaker/mic that might work. Looney might have done a review.

I thought the speaker was only meant for active intrusion. Like alarm sounding and built-in "intruder alert" noise playback. I didn't know it can support 2-way talk pass-thru. That should be more clear in their spec sheet.
