Now that's a subject line!
I'm looking for some advice.
I live in a semi-rural area near Perth in Western Australia. Our nearest Police Station is at least 10-15 minutes away. There have been discussions amongst the citizens here of ways we can manage our own security in the absence of official law enforcement.. We've implemented some - but one particular idea was deemed "too hard".
Many of us have IP Cameras around our properties - but there's nothing that ties them together. We wanted to have a website where we can all share one or two of our cameras to a central location where we can all then see each others camera feeds...
Is there anything like that out there?
I know I could just use something like ZoneMinder and have everyone do some port-forwarding, and just connect to the cameras that way but that just expects too much networking knowledge in everyone.
I could write something but meh. I reckon the Police must have something like this... but is there an open-source equivalent?
Cheers, Jas
