I have a DS-7608N1-I2/8P NVR and the other day the power went out for a few hours and i never looked at the box till 2 days later and the cam's are all working as i can see on my mobile app. But the Remote control and the Mouse that is hooked up to the NVR are no longer working.. I tried another mouse as well as resetting the box. Nothing... any hints.

your remote viewing issue is likely a result of the external or local ip changing as a result of the power outage...
Sorry you miss read my post i can view remotely... The REMOTE CONTROL and the mouse do not work off the NVR.
