I have some dahua eyeball cameras I need to lower off of the soffit of mybhouse. I would screw it to a junction box but it just doesn't fit well. Any other ideas?

1) Whats the purpose of the lowering, that would help suggest an alternative.
2) What is the issue with the fit on a junction box?

So my camera has a bit less ir reflection and it just doesn't look right on the box.

Check with those that sell dahua....wrightwood, nellys etc....maybe @vector18 has another suggestion as he installs lots of dahua cams.

catseyenu, that is what I use for my bullets as well. But the OP wants to know what to use for eyeballs. I have used those same round boxes for the eyeballs, but only two out of three mounting screws go on the plate and you need silicone to cover open areas.

vector, are you saying that the eyeball base is larger than the round junction box?

it's almost the same exact size and the mounting screws are around the edge of the camera

Yes the eyeball just fits on the round boxes and the square boxes are just as akward
