Interested to see what kind of mounting boxes people have come up with for their Mini PTZ, as opposed to direct mounting of arm to wall. My mounting needs dictate need of an exterior grade surface mount box that I can pass in the Ethernet cable and hold the pigtail. My initial thought is to get a standard 2-gang square (or round) exterior metal box with metal cover, 4 holes to match the arm hole pattern and bolt the arm to the cover, sealing up around the holes and bracket with silicone. Seems like it would work nicely and also make servicing the connections nice and easy.

Anyone done something similar, and have any pictures to go with it? Only pictures I found in the installation pics forums were direct arm-to-wall mount.

Also Anyone know if this fits Mini PTZ? It's listed in that section in Huisun store: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/1-3Mega-pixel-HD-IR-mini-PTZ-camera-with-bracket/1248007_32390266396.html

I used this box: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00E0H7HFK , and
this cable gland: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00843UJNI
and half of a 4x4 to create a corner mount. See this post for a few pics...

If I had had the opportunity to bring the CAT5 out of the wall directly behind the mounting block, I'd have put the cable gland in the back of the box instead of on the bottom of the box, and drilled a hole in the block that the cable gland would have fit into, and there would be no exposed wire.
