Mounting and remote viewing my NVR?

Hi I have a Hikvision DS-7608NI and think I may mount it in the utility room with my switch and where most of the Ethernet cables terminate,, but I would like to view the live feed in the kitchen. There is an Ethernet port there, but is it possible to connect my spare monitor and mouse without running additional cable?

there are adapters to run hdmi over ethernet (hi-rez may need 2 cat5's),
or run a browser on some device in the kitchen (tablet, raspberry pi, smart fridge?) to view the NVR's web UI.

I'll see if the HDMI adapters work but what about the mouse? I don't think a wireless mouse will reach? Its up a level and over 4 feet??

yeah, if you wanna control it in addition to just viewing, then a browser interface makes more sense.
