Motion Trigger Setup

Hello,

I have 4 cameras connected to a zmodo NVR and also have blue iris on my pc because it is a lot easier to work with. What I am trying to figure out right now is how to change recording length when a motion trigger is activated. I would like it to keep 30 seconds before the trigger in the alert file. How do I do this? Thanks in advance.

Those are called pretrigger frames. You need adjust the pretrigger frames in the record tab of each camera. If you camera is set at 15fps then for 30 seconds you need 450 pretrigger frames. This will have an impact on performance. 30 seconds of pretrigger seems excessive...
For post trigger cutoff you need to adjust the break time setting ...this is measured in seconds, not frames like the pretrigger.

Thank you for the quick response. I went with 6 seconds worth of prerecord and 10 seconds of break time to try it out. I only want the camera pointed at the driveway setup like this. Thanks for the information.
