Motion detection issue

Hi.
New to using dahua products. Have setup two cameras. Great picture, also in the dark. Having trouble with motion detection though.
See attached image. Have trouble getting it to record when I move around in the corner I circled in the attached image. Have set threshold to 0 and sensitivity to 100 on that area, but if I move around in the corner it has trouble catching me.
Anything I can do to enhance this or do I just need to set it to record all the time to make sure to catch any bsd guys working in the corner?

Zoom in as much as possible. If you have set the object size smaller like 200 or less and the contrast under 20 and it still doesnt pick it up then you need to get closer. The amount of detail at that distance isnt going to be very good. You would be better to pick up multiple cameras to record the important areas with high detail. IE... Zoomed in.

Details in the image is one thing, but why doesn't it even trigger motion when I move around? It is a matter of several pixels changing.

You have to understand how its detecting you. At that far of distance the amount of pixles that are moving isnt much. So its going to have a low chance to find you around the corner. The contrast can effect it too.

Are you using motion detection in the camera or are you using it in BI? If in the camera are you sure that BI is triggering an alert, Has BI ever triggered an motion alert from this camera ?
