Motion detected footage to play as Sub Steam

Hi all,

So Im using the IDMSS Plus app on the iPhone and the motion detect is working and all, however everytime i check the footage from the motion detected notifications, it seems to be streaming from the main stream (higher bit rate). Does anyone know if there is a way to stream this footage as Stream 2 ?

In the device settings, there are Stream Settings and its got Live - Sub and Playback - Sub selected however its still using the main stream.

Try clicking the blue you see on my pic and switch to the other side. But there’s also a new app DMSS without the “i” that’s recently been released and may work better.

I believe it will only playback whatever stream was recorded. You would have to go back and change the Record Stream to substream wherever it is being recording.

yeh thanks for that.

The DMSS app is abit less user friendly compared with IDMSS, the favourites screen, the playback dosent allow prompt type to be live or video, and no dark mode.
