To the forum members and their families that may have lost a loved one in the military service of our great nation:
My heartfelt condolences to you and my never ending gratitude to them, for paying the ultimate sacrifice.
Many know that freedom is not free but too many don't care or just don't understand. Those that do know the price are grateful, not just on the last Monday in May, but throughout the year.
Memorial Day is about those that didn't make it back home to enjoy the fruits of their labor and sacrifice. I can only speak for myself.....it is an honor to have served but a blessing to have survived to come home. I consider it my duty and an honor to pay my respects to the families of the freedom warriors that did not come home.
May the Lord comfort you and your family and lift your spirits this Memorial Day.
