Manual focus camera listing, is there one?

Out and about
Have done a search but not a lot comes up, is there a list of cameras that you can select manual focus in the software?
I believe this is one DS-2CD2632F-IS Hikvision 3MP 2.8-12mm Varifocal Lens (EDIT: only manually adjustable internal focus per fenderman), there must be many more? Looking for different options where there are poles or trees in foreground of image area, and also possible LPR use.

None of those are varifocal. .. the Hikvision you listed in your Op is old and outdated and requires manually focusing from the camera itself...
 
Yeah pushing crap up hill I think, a list of fixed focus I have found, it may help someone out, I'd like to find some varifocal with the "OFF" option in the software.....I'll keep looking.

Read my post again... What I said was the links you provided in your second post are all fixed focus cameras and are not adjustable... The Hikvision in your first post is vari focal however it's manual... You must open the camera to adjust it and it's a pain in the ass... There are also cheaper cameras with better sensors with motorized varifocal available which allows you to adjust from the web browser... Read the wiki on the top of the Forum.. the Hikvision is an old outdated model.

I know they are all fixed focus, that's why I listed them, I want manual control focus or fixed focus, definitely not auto focus.
I had thought the DS-2CD2632F-IS was able to be manually selected in the software, but it appears not, but is manually adjustable, and yes is a PITA to do it.
But I haven't been able to find any cheaper varifocal cameras that support manual focus, or the ability to turn auto focus off. I'll keep looking.
(I noted they are fixed focus at the top of post 2, but your first reply came while I was working on my pastes/edits to that post and that statement wasn't there then, as well as the Hikvision cameras.)

you said nothing about fixed focus..only manual focus...not sure why you think your list is useful..most cameras are fixed focus...many of the cameras you list are outdated old models.....you have obviously not dont your research as you initially stated...

fenderman, can you please point me in the direction of any manually selectable & adjustable focus cameras (via software or physically) besides the DS-2CD2632F-IS, even if they are out of date, but still available?

Why? buy a fixed focus camera...you will be dicking around with the manual focus and it will drive you nuts...or learn to copy and paste a simple script...much much easier than dealing with the manual focus in the cams you want...also note that the 5231 2.8-12 turrets dont have the focus issues as the z12 zoom can seems to have...so why buy a manual 2.8-12?
