Mac live viewing trouble - need help

I can log in just fine across all web browsers (Safari,Edge, Chrome, Firefox) but I come across the same problem it's that I can't live view from the web gui. The only reason I need to log in and view from the GUI is so I can edit my IVS rules. But since I can't even view a live picture, I can't edit anything on the video.

I use to use SmartPSS for a few things but that's been discontinued. SmartPSS lite won't work on my MacBook.

Surely there has to be a work around to be able to view these live images but I can't think of any.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm using a Dhaka NVR 5216 and a couple switches. Functionality to edit the IVS via the actual NVR won't work.

How do you even go about installing pale moon because I've already tried this (64 bit) and Apple denies installing this because they can't verify it.

Gotta say, its very frustrating for something that should be so easy to do.
 
Sadly the firmware was designed around Windows and Internet Explorer, so sometimes it can be a struggle for Mac users.

I know others have installed it on Mac - you need to override the warning.

Believe me, I’ve thought about that more now than ever. I’ve been drawn to the apple ecosystem though.

Where does one find the 32 bit version from a reputable source because can’t find it on their website.

 
FWIW, I've just installed, on a couple of mac's, M1 and M2, SmartPSS Lite, and it works flawlessly, are you using the Intel or M3 version ?

Thanks for the reply. I’ve looked at smartpss lite as another option (I use to use the original Smartpss but it’s discontinued.

Unfortunately I use the intel chip and not one of the M chips.

But with smartpss lite, you can successfully edit IVS rules and such right in that program? Even if I’m using a switch? Because I can’t do that thru my NVR directly.
