Hi folks,

I have got LV-N9808C8E 8 channel NVR flashed to the latest LaView firmware, which is V3.4.62 build 160713:

4 LaView cameras are connected and working:

What I am trying to achieve is to get continuous and motion detection tracks in the playback UI in the browser showing up next to each other, just like on the picture I found somewhere else:

I contacted LaView support and they mentioned disabling it in their latest firmware. Does it make sense to install Hikvision firmware to be able to see the picture above? If yes, what exact firmware files do I need for both the NVR and cameras?

Thank you in advance,
Vladius

LaView has pulled support for advertised firmware from their FW section but allowed for your (3.4.62) version on a press release. Another user here mentioned a 2020 rep release, but provided no sourcing. Would be great to know if that solved this--

UPDATE
Had been on v3.3.1 for the past few years without any security issues. Upgraded two days ago from their official FW site then hit with a barrage of malicious IPs pretty much across the globe (RUS, UKR, GER, ROM, USA, DEN, SWE). Can’t downgrade after talking with LaView, they won’t patch any existing security flaws in v3.4.62, and won’t release v3.4.93 or higher
