I have nine cameras, all from Andy, collected over several years, running through BI. When I first got them, I thought they were good. After tweaking them, as recommended here, they are MUCH better, especially at night. Recently, had reason to consider, and get, an LPR camera. So, of course, got the 5241E-Z12E from Andy. Got it yesterday, Have it sitting on the front porch, and tonight I finally got it sort of tuned. My shot is at a stop sign on a slow speed, one way road, much easier than most setups. But, it is 105 feet or so from the camera, 35 degrees horizontal, 20 degrees vertical. Attached is a shot it got tonight. FANTASTIC!!

I'm using OpenALPR right now, and working to get Gymratz query tool working.

Thanks to all of the help folks!! I'm still working on tweaking it, and will refine it after I get it mounted. Wanted to make sure it would work well. It also picks up plates on the cross street, which has much more traffic.
