Lorex (Dahua) with Sony EXMOR Sensor, what is it?

I've been doing some research for a co-worker who wants a camera system with US-based support. I recently stumbled across the Lorex's LNB3143 and noticed it contains a Sony EXMOR sensor (not to be confused with Starvis). The fact that Lorex highlights this feature in their listing---will it provide better nighttime performance compared to the LNB3163BW? I've tried to encourage the co-worker to go with Starlight, but is not familiar with optics; it seems everyone is different

Does anyone know which Dahua model the Lorex LNB3143 closely resembles?
I know the LNB3163 closely resembles the IPC-HFW1320S, but isn't well-regarded here

Tell him to go read the horror stories about lorex support...its worthless...he can get better global based support via this forum..
