I bought a Dahua IPC-HFW4431R-Z and I was pleasantly surprised with the video quality.
But they are too big imo.
The plan is to install 4 cameras on the exterior wall of my house. This is a brick wall and I already have an UTP cable at the right place.
Since these cameras have the UTP connection on the outside of the camera, I also need to install a junction box, which makes the camera even bigger.
I also had a Unifi G3 to test. The form factor on these are perfect AND the have the UTP connection on the inside of the camera. Which means: No junction box needed!
My question is: Does Dahua have cameras with a smaller form factor that can make an UTP connection on the inside so that I don't need a junction box?
Or does anyone know of an other brand of camera that is more suitable for my needs?
