Looking for a camera that would work with my API.

I’m a programmer but I know nothing about cameras. I’m looking for a camera that on motion detection would send a ping via for example POST to my python code so that my program can handle the data.
Currently I have dahua cameras around the company but it only sends emails and that seems like a duck tape solution. It would be a lot of help if anybody can point me in the right direction.
