Looking for 8 Camera System

I'm looking for an 8 camera system and am overwhelmed by the options. I'd appreciate any suggestions.I would like to keep the system cost as low as possible, while still getting a quality product.I prefer a 1080p setup, but can go with 720p if you think it is good enough for home surveillance purposes.I've been looking at Lorex systems, which I think I can get for around $600 with a 1080p setup.I've also found this system: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00R3QLGNO/ref=s9_acsd_al_bw_c_x_5And this system: http://www.nellyssecurity.com/custo...-camera-hd-cvi-720p-surveillance-system.htmlI would like to be able to record all eight cameras in full resolution at 30 fps and would like to be able to securely view from a smartphone or another device from another location.Thank you in advance!

Hi Questions,

I cant speak much for the amcrest stuff, they are made by Foscam which you can probably find mixed reviews all over this site about them. But the recorder in our system is a Dahua manufactured recorder. To answer your questions:

- you can record full 720p at 30 FPS on each camera
- you can easily view all cameras remotely from smart devices and PC's all over the world.

Do you need all 8 cameras to begin with. Just thinking outloud that you may be more satisfied with a 1080p system and maybe starting with less cameras and expanding later. We could probably get creative and stay within your budget. Feel free to give me a shout if you would like to talk it over.
