Lizard Saying Hello

Growing up in GA, living in AL and a frequent visitor to FL I've caught many anoles and skinks in my time but those fence lizards are SUPER QUICK! Same applies to their cousins in N. CA. in Santa Clara County, they probably also have purple on both sides of their belly....if you can ever get close enough and are fast enough to catch one! I've caught a couple 50 - 60 years ago but am too slow now.
In the summer they'd lay sunning themselves on the dunnage left over from flatbed trucks after unloading 30 ft. traffic signal and street light poles in the corp yard.
