Live view not showing full - recorded view ok

I was tinkering with settings on my new Hikvision 4mp turret and when I switched from 2mp to 4mp I noticed that the live view is partially cut off on the right side and bottom but if I take a snapshot or video it shows the full view. Is this normal?

If you are switching the feed in your camera directly from 2MP to 4MP, you have to also make the change in the Blue Iris resolution. From BI - Camera Settings > Video > Resolution
 
Are you speaking of the image setting? When I restart the camera it shows this setting:

Yes, that is where I am talking about. If you are not seeing the entire picture in BI with the setting you are showing then you might need to refresh this camera in BI (hitting OK on the screen shot should do this).

Also, edit your last post to remove the first attachment for your IP (not that big a deal since internal IP though)

I thought about the ip after I sent it and went back and scrubbed it, hopefully it's gone now. Let me know if it isn't. Thanks

There is absolutely no reason to redact an internal ip address...blue iris should automatically adjust to the feed its getting..try restarting blue iris and the camera.
 
The pic with your IP is gone now.

Fenderman - I think it's okay that he wanted it removed. I noticed he blacked it out on his second image and figured I would let him know a pic with the IP was still viewable. And yes, I agree, no real reason to have it removed as it is internal, but what the heck, the guy wanted to remove it :)
 
I have restarted BI several times along with the camera. I have BI 3 on another pc and live view is full there, also appears full in BI viewer (@bp2008's program). I may have to try removing/adding camera.
 
Oh, also, I have another 4mp turret in the back of the house, I changed it from 2mp to 4mp and it shows up ok in BI live view.
 
For what it's worth in case someone else encounters this, I deleted & re-added camera in BI & now the live view is now good again.
