I have the line detection hikvision DS-7616NI-E2 (V 3.4.90) with Cam DS-2CD2332-I (V 5.4.0) established in the outside area
The sensitivity I have on very low (2).
The direction is from A to B.
If the area becomes darker or lighter, an alarm is generated.
This should not be true.
No matter what I set, an alarm is always triggered when the brightness changes altogether.
There was realy no movement from A to B.

Does the new firmware improve?

Is there a trick to preventing it?

I realize this is just FYI, and no help for somebody committed to Hikvision hardware. I have several different Dahua models and line crossing works great on all of them, including the sub-$100 Chinese market cameras with hacked English firmware. They are outdoors and the biggest problem I have is false triggers due to cloud shadows, and it's not a very big problem.
