Annual Summer PM for exterior cameras. Clean the lens and IR emitters, clear the webs and other debris stuck to the housings, inspect the mounts and cable ingress, etc. Thankfully no winged stinging things to deal with this year.

I like that box because it has hinges. It's always annoyed me that you have to hold the camera awkwardly while making all the connections in the box with the stock Dahua boxes only to then have to screw it into the plate. Having it on a hinge fixes this issue!

That is so cool.

Now, where in tar nations is that safety cable?!?

Interestingly, the cam came with a cable that had an integrated plastic "D" handle which showed it's purpose only of aiding in the physical installation. Cable attached to between arm & PTZ cam to allow the use of two hands to deal with the wiring harness.

You mean like this?

Yeah my school just had a subcontractor finish up the same work on a bunch of our campuses.

Is that a 30-45' lift? I've been up on a 75' boom lift to run some conduit at a NFL stadium. That is the highest I'll go on a lift. Its not the height that bothers me its the movement they have that bothers me..

The model number denotes 40'. Much like yourself, I do not enjoy the post-movement wiggle, nor the bounce/sway when stationary and working in the basket. The clench scale has been pretty low in this one, I am sure the shorter boom length is part of it.
