Keep a whole day or two from being overwritten in BI

Last November 28th a neighbor's house was burglarized. I was fortunate to get some video that was turned over to the police. However, I would like to save the entire day on all cameras in case something more is required by the police.
Is this possible to do in BI fairly easily?

right click on the clips and select protected...but if you want to properly backup, export the clips or copy and paste from the folder only another medium or online. you can use the shift button to select a bunch of clips at once then right click and select protect.
