Not more then 2 days apart I had two of these cameras just take a dive and go no signal for no reason I can see happened. The first one was a camera I changed lens on , but worked perfectly until recently. Then the next one just went no-signal like the first one. I pulled the first one down and have yet to test it to see why it possibly failed.
As I viewed the camera before taking it down, I notice the infra-red led were still working fine and the camera was still warm to the touch like all was fine. After pulling the camera i noticed the cameras have a reset button on the back. Is it possible that this reset button can correct this problem. I guess I will check tomorrow with the one I removed and hope it can put it back online for me. If anyone had something like this happen, chime in and let me know. Seems strange that 2 go down in exactly the same way and is the reason I have posted this.
As I check the setting in BI also, to make sure it was something in the settings that changed from an update. I notice that BI likes to change the camera type on some of the same cameras I have mounted. I guess I will have to recheck these settings now after each update to make sure BI hasn't messed with the camera type.

There is a lot of Hikvision camera hacking going on in the last few weeks since the Hikvision camera backdoor was published where cameras have been exposed to the internet by 'port forwarding'.
Changing passwords, changing IP address, resetting to defaults etc.
Before pulling the cameras down - check their status with SADP. Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co. Ltd.
It may simply be that the IP address has been changed, or the settings defaulted.

Before taking the cameras down did you check to see if they were on the same IP address you had them originally set to?
Are these cameras port forwarded or have UPNP, P2P enabled?
Are they running on Static IP address or DHCP?

The cameras could have been hacked and set to default or if running DHCP your router could have simply given them a new IP address.
Check if you can see them first via the Hikvision SADP Hikvision Europe.

I have cameras going "offline" for no apparent reason quite often. My first step is to reset the camera by unplugging the eth cable at my poe switch, power down the camera for 30+ seconds then plug it back in and see if that will give it a jump start. Usually that's all it takes.

I have a couple get stubborn and it took a little more convincing. Also, our cameras are not on the internet, internal access only.

Well, I finally dug into the problem of these 2 cameras going offline mysteriously. I checked the reset button and this did nothing to fix the problem.
Then I decided to check using the Hikvision tool box as suggested above and this is where the problem was. 2 cameras went default settings and returned to the original IP and password 12345 and gateway 0.0.0.0. This is totally strange to me and how only 2 cameras did this has me wondering why and how. I never had this happen before now and I hoped it wasn't a power surge or spike, but it wasn't that at all. I do sometimes during the day, shut the system off to save some cost in power and stuff. When the second camera went offline, it happened right after turning system back on. I watched the cameras as they went online, then the 2nd camera just changed on it's own to no signal.
This is a first time problem I have had since the system has been installed and to default set only 2 cameras is baffling. I will keep an eye on things to make sure it doesn't occur again. Thanks to everyone for you input. This forum is just great and has some informative people on board. Glad to be part of it. :.)

I would now check your setup as it seems your cameras / nvr may have been hacked... There is quite a lot of information on this forum about Hikvision cameras been hacked and they default to default settings..

Turn off port forwarding, uPNP and P2P if they are turned on and block your devices hitting the internet.
