Junction box for T5442TM AS plus camera selection question

Before hitting "Place order" button in Andy's store, seeking groups' advice on the following 2 questions:

1) for IPC T5442TM AS which junction box is the best for ceiling mount? PFA130e or PFA137 or PFA139? Need a weatherproof solution
2) choosing between K42A and T2431TM AS. 1x camera for inside of garage and 1x camera for a room in the basement. of the house. My understanding is that 2431 has a better performance in the dark, but otherwise cameras are compatible. Any reason to choose one over another?

I don't use boxes on acoustic tile mounts... I DO use a 1/4"-1/2" thick backer (usually plywood) above ceiling tile to screw in to.
