Jerky Vid's..HELP!

I have 7 Foscam F19821P V2 cams and Blue Iris 4.5.3.7 x64 running on a Dell i7 4790 CPU 3.60GHz with 12 GB memory and my videos are jerkey jerky jerky (see atached link). I have tried every setting I can think of..any ideas for me? (A friends recordings with a 10 year old laptop that looks better then my recordings). My current Foscan settings for this camera are:

Try backing it down to frame rate of 15, and/or back your bitrate down and see if it changes?
 
FYI I am certain the problem begins in Foscam soetware, I can see jerky while watching cam via Foscam software.
 
Is the live view jerky or just the recordings? I'm not familiar with BI so hopefully someone with more knowledge will come by to help.

I would still start by dropping the bitrate and fps and then see if there is a buffer problem with Windows

Tried a bunch of different settings. Would u post suggestions please. I'll post vid on utube this evening...:smash:

AS mentioned lower the frame rate to 15...your problem is likely the wifi..dont use it...in the future avoid foscam like the plague...if you just purchased them, return.
 
Backed Frame Rate to 15, Key Frame Interval 15, Bit Rate 1M and problem still exsists. Also installed 2nd router as repeater and have strong wifi signals. Problem is on all cams including one inside only 15 feet from the router. It does look like a buffer problem, how do I check that?

set receive buffer in BI to 20mb, video>configuration...
your problem is wifi...its useless
 
Cleared all cache, restarted computer etc. Still jerky. In this one minute video from this morning you can actually see the timer skips several seconds each time the video freezes. The black car came down the street, the silver car and white van came from the driveway accross the street. Again, I feel the problem begins in the Foscam software and is passed on to BI. What am I missing?

The problem is the wifi. Plain and simple. Also, using a "repeater" will cut your available speed in half (or worse) because everything that is received wirelessly then needs to be retransmitted wirelessly.

Thanks for your reply bp2008. I set up the second router as an access point (not a repeater). I have Charter and my internet speed is good (135 Mbps down and 5.8 Mbps up). So you're thinking I have a problem with my local wifi? I am going to reboot everything for starters.
 
Yes, the main problem is that you are connecting cameras with wifi. Wire as many of these as you can back to a switch or router. The fewer cameras you have on wifi, the better. Remember to disable the wifi interface on each camera after you plug it in, so they don't waste any air time, and you don't accidentally continue streaming over wifi without realizing it.

If your Blue Iris machine is connected with wifi, then absolutely you should get it wired first. Having Blue Iris on wifi is the worst thing you could do for reliability.

Your internet service does not affect local streaming and recording in any way.
 
My Blue Iris machine is connected via ethernet cable however I just discovered wifi was turned on. I have never used this machine wifi so I have no idea how it got turned on. Turn it off also turned off bluetooth and will run some tests. Could it being turned on have caused conflicts?
 
In theory the PC's wifi would have been a lower priority than the wired network interface so it wouldn't have actually been used.
