Can anyone tell me if I am able to get motion notifications from the hikvision app?

Yes you are. You can enable through the camera web portal first and then enable the alarm on the mobile app.

Thank you. Got it working. The alerts do not say what canera they are from. Also, when I click on the alert, it does t take me to that motion clip. Is that a limitation of the software or did I mess it up?

It should allow the option for remote playback, along with live view
