Hi,
I used to use iVMS (Mac) just fine, however I updated my NVR a couple of weeks ago and now I cannot get any live view to work in iVMS.

Live view works just fine in the NVR's web view and also in the Hit-Connect iOS app.

I have the NVR added to iVMS (Mac) and can view/edit all the settings just fine:

It's also showing my cameras:

However as you can see here, there is no live view showing:

I've tried everything I can think of over the last few weeks to get this back working.
I've even connected a MacBook directly to the NVR cam ports to access the cameras directly. Adding them as individual cameras works perfectly, it's just when i'm using the NVR as the gateway that they don't want to play anything.

Any ideas?

Have a look and see if stream encryption is on
That photo with the blank boxes hit the modify button and if it shows steam encryption key type in the key that is usually the verification code on the bottom of the nvr “ example GHVYNH”

Thanks for the reply.
This is what I’ve been trying to do for ages, but it seems that when the cameras are through an NVR there’s is nowhere to enter the encryption key. When I click the modify button it only asks for username and password and they only connect if I enter the NVR username and password.

Ok on your phone Hik-Connect you can disable it there
They will txt you a code just enter it,then encryption should be disabled

I normally go to the nvr and on group open the box which shows what cameras are connected then tap open the blue square which says modify
That then brings up another box with the camera and six lines down is stream key

I have just disabled the video encryption like you suggested, but it made no difference in iVMS. I even tried deleting and reading the device.
Also, here's a screenshot from when I click Modify on a camera, it shows the details for the NVR and not he individual camera.

Oh actually. We have life.
The group manager is still showing the grey squares but if I double click one it shows the image :)
I checked Main View and it is working.

Thanks for your help.

I wonder if there is a way to reenable the encryption.
