IVMS-4200 Encryption

Hello,

Recently, I got Hikvision cameras installed at my business... I like to monitor them from home. Does anyone know if I have HTTPS enabled - IVMS-4200 will encrypt the connection?

If I visit my NVR's IP address (Via Safari) I see it is encrypted with 256 AES encryption, but I am not sure if IVMS-4200 does the same with the stream and the password.

I wanted to open wire-shark to capture traffic, but I have not had time. I am not sure if the mobile version of IVMS-4500 encrypted the stream with HTTPS.

Depending on your nvr hikvision has the option to enable stream encryption
You can enable it and the verification code is under the nvr eg,MNBVCX
