Hi, someone has already tried the iVMS 4200 2.5.0.3 ?
I'm downloading it right now .....
Cheers,
jonatha

To be honest, still far from the live view directly from the NVR, even though seems a bit better than the 2.4.1.3 .....
With 2.4.1.3, after a while that it was running (3 hours or so), if I tried to use the Remote playback, the system crashed, and I had to close and relaunch the iVMS.
So far, seems stable .....
Domani ti faccio sapere...
(tomorrow, I'll let you know more precisely ....)
Two funny things ... the version is reported as 1.01.00.07

And also the menus are slightly different from those in the PDF

Grazie post a screenshot of the any device settings page. Or is it still the old style there maybe?

Looks like the download got pulled. Showing 0.0 B

Maybe it was to good. So they had to go back and introduce some bugs

Well, little update .... yesterday, after having upgraded the iVMS, the software didn't started, it gave one error (honesly, I don't remember which number, but was a stupid error), so I uninstalled the iVMS from its uninstaller, removed all componentes, I re-installed, but it didn't asked me to set the user and pwd, the old ones were still there, even though I removed all components, cleared the registry, rebooted the pc.
Today, after 4 hours or so, the iVMS wasn't no more able to find the registrations ...
So I uninstalled again the software, but this time via the control panel, and after the installation, it asked me the new usr and pwd...... ok let's see now
But, at least, now the correct version is shown

I didn't notice much of a difference. Maybe works a bit better with my husband. 264 + camera. But hmm marginally. Not really anything major that they updated

Seems available also here, ......
On mine, the issue has occured again, after a while that's running, if I try to use the Playback, it crashes (message "iVMS stop working") and I have to relaunch it .....
Did someone who has had the software running for some hours, encountered similar issues ?
Cheers,
jonatha

According to the "what's new" there's supposed to be two versions now, with a lite version only having the basic functions (live view, playback, alarms, and device config). I guess that installer is still not around, but I think that's a nice addition to have.

We had been testing v2.5.0.3 build 20160330 for a week or so and while it had a number of bug fixes pertaining to stability and memory leaks there were some lingering issues with regards to H264+ performance.

So just received version v2.5.0.4 build 160504 from Hikvision and it is looking good. Incredibly stable and the H.264+ looks great. I think Hikvision will use the 2.5.0.4 as a mainstream release shortly.

As far as the lite vs full install... still not present in v2.5.0.4 and our Hikvision people have no clue about what the release notes said on the Russian site.
