My dad worked on the Hellfire program back when he worked for Rockwell International Missile & Space division then later acquired by Boeing in the 90's. This was before "Hellfire" was an everyday recognized name. Back then it was an anti-tank missile but we later saw during the Persian Gulf War it was used for multiple purposes. I would have rather they used the 50 cal machine gun. Those 10 losers were not worth 4 Hellfire missiles but I recognize our men and equipment are worth more. More cha-ching for the military industrial complex I suppose.
