I’m not Pro Hamas. They’re just as bad as the Israelis with hatred. Been going on a long time. Both sides as you say are culpable.

There’s a difference to me currently and the past year or more where you literally have a high tech highly advanced capable military bombing rubble, shooting anything that moves, and yes by their own admission starving a population effectively living in tents and with little to no military capability.

Add to that the clear Israeli intention of expansion and occupation, they’ve soured much of the world on their “cause”. They’ve jumped the shark and have turned it into a slaughter.

Maybe if they’d just leave us out if it and quit also fucking with our government I wouldn’t give a shit as much. But frankly at this point Israel can fuck right off as far as I’m concerned

I know you are not pro Hamas or Israel. Either am I ergo my post which was meant to point out or at least imply the hypocrisy going on around the world; and the fact that no one has clean hands. I kind of wonder what's going on in the minds of Gazans who voted for Hamas, celebrate them and celebrated Oct 7th. What did they think would happen? Maybe it's their custom to "play the martyr"? I've never been in Gaza and cannot tell what exactly is going on there.
What I do know, is that they are holding civilians as hostages, for almost two years, the civilians are starved and tortured and some of them are already dead.
Let me remind you that Hamas started this war and doesn't want to end it by returning the hostages.
You cannot differentiate Hamas from Gazans, since, Hamas lives in the same place Gazans live and doesn't wear uniform, which means more "univloved" causalities.
I don't claim the IDF is totally innocent and always fight by the rules, but mostly they do try (or at least this is what I believe).


What do you think Russia or the US would have done to Gaza if they were in the shoes of Israel?

I would also say that Gaza is fenced and monitored with 24x7 camera with thermal/Flir. With the level of intelligence they have like blowing up Hezbollah leaders deep underground and Iranian scientists/physicists, IRGC commanders etc.

I believe Israel goverment let Oct 7 to happen with this they accomplished a lot of objectives like land grab in Syria, Lebanon, attack on Iran nuclear facilities.

Hamas itself came to power because Israel wanted them at that time.

As far as what US or Russia would have done, both would have probably just rescued the hostages, even if it meant the possibility that the hostages don't survive and in the process some civilians also getting killed. Like in battle of Mogadishu in 93 or the failed rescue attempt during Iran hostage crises. For any US administration if the hostages don't survive, it's a political suicide. Not the case with Russia since during the Moscow theater siege and the Beslan school hostage situation, lots of hostages died and Putin's popularity actually grew.

As far as Gazans celebrating the hostages. Well during 9/11 pretty sure every muslim in the world celebrated it. In every single non muslim countries around the world, when ever there is a terrorist attack, the muslims either fail to condemn it or they celebrate it.

When we were in Jordan we saw huge tents in the desert, whole families, not poor, living the old ways. They do not want to live like us. We were told in many cases they were richer than those who to dwelt in the cities. Yes they had precious metals/livestock...

We really have no idea what we are saying when we talk about a land/people that for 1000's of years have the same culture, beliefs, religion.

I remember Vivek saying in Hinduism all gods are equal or something and god resides in each one of us. He said when you have a hole the size of god in your heart, something else will fill the void, like wokesim, transgenderism these are also new religions. We all would be in jail if Kamala had won since we would have got the same draconian laws like UK.

But even in India, Muslims numbers have gone up at the expense of Hindus. The only place muslims have been on a decline is in China which considers Islam a mental illness and have reeducation camps.
