Is there a way to "arm" BI while "away"?

I believe I'm overthinking this issue but i can't figure out an easy way to accomplish this.

When I'm home, I don't need alerts pushed to my phone about someone being in the side yard or entering the garage. But when we leave for the weekend or the day, I'd like to be notified of that. Is there a way to essentially "arm" BI to let it know I'm away and want to receive alerts via the app for these cameras/zones?

Thanks for any feedback. I have a real knack for over complicating these things.

Set up a geofence for your mobile device is one way that will auto switch profiles based on where you are.

Set up home and away profiles and manually change it when you leave or arrive is another way.

I am sure others can chime in with what they have done.

I do what @wittaj mentioned above. You can also manually control it through the use of profiles and associated schedules. I have profiles setup that stop alerts for given amounts of time. It's useful when I'm out working in the yard and it keeps my phone from blowing up with alerts.
