Is there a camera that is good for night vision in color?

I have a friend that wants a camera that has good night vision in color. Is there such a camera? He has several 5442's that will keep the color mode because they are close to lights. The one place he wants the camera does not have any help with lighting. I don't think there is enough light to keep the 5442 in color mode.

All cameras need light - either white or infrared. There is no magic camera that can see without any light.

If it won't keep the 5442 in color mode, then getting a full color type camera will probably be disappointing.

The 4K/X is an incredible full color camera, but it needs some light or the white LED on the camera. But many don't want the camera emitting a white light.
