Is it possible to add a stand alone Hikvision camera on one site to my NVR via the internet on a different site?

Hi

Yes, create a tunnel with a VPN (OpenVPN seems popular here), ensure that your subnets are matched with the gateways as well. add the remote camera IP into the NVR and it should work. To access the video remotely, you will have to make sure that the router is in bridge mode so that you can NAT the VPN traffic to the internet breakout alternatively use the HikConnect App

Now thats something to think about, it's a good idea to generate a QR code for this feature. Im sure it possible with a bit of C# or python.
