Is HFW5442E-Z4E similar to Empiretech B54IR-Z4E?

FYI I actually saw that last week while browsing...

The pic shows it to be a S2 Z4 but the specs are copied from a S3 and the max. illumination distance shown is 60 m, which is 1/2 that of a Z4?
60m illumination is the spec for the standard 2.8-12mm bullet

The specs listed in the description are all over the place. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the info given is incorrect.

The one I received definitely is a Z4E with a zoom of 8mm - 32mm. It's printed on the box and camera and with it zoomed all the way out, the FOV is roughly half of what my 3.6mm lens T54IR is.

I suspect the seller simply pulled up the specs for the 5442 and assumed it would be the same, which those of us have been around know that they have changed slightly with different chipsets.

I think it is probably an honest mistake versus intentional.

By the way, what the latest firmware for this camera, anyone know? Were there improvements in updates? I believe this camera may be early version firmware.

I would bet since likely a different chipset, but just wondering what those who have the earlier version are running for firmware
