Is DS-7916N-E4/16P the same as DS-7716NI-E4/16P?

Hi all,

As above, I have the chinese DS-7916N-E4/16P and looking for a equal model for EN model which the closest I can find is DS-7716NI-E4/16P.

I intend to download that EN firmware and use hiktools to change the language and hopefully I can flash the firmware and remodel my NVR to english.

Please advise.

It will only change the language flag in the header of the firmware, not that of the firmware itself.

Hiktools will not change the language of the NVR.
If you flash the wrong language firmware - EN firmware on a CN NVR - you will brick the NVR with the 15-beep bootloop.

That is an International model, which will work in English and Multi-language.
