Has anyone ran into an issue when the camera doesn't record every second. Sometimes my camera will jump 2 or 3 seconds and doesn't record continuously. So when a vehicle is driving down the road it will pick it up about 3 houses away and then won't pick it up until after it's passed.

Does anyone know what setting I need to change so the Camera records continuously without any delays

Are you using more than one motion detection like MD and IVS?

How is it being recorded? SD card or NVR or other VMS?

Thanks for the quick reply, not sure about MD and IVS being on at the same time, I will go in this afternoon to make sure they are not. I am using an NVR model NVR8CH-8P-2AI. Thanks for your assistance

1. Does storage -> schedule have selected General + Motion + Inteligent/IVS for that camera / channel?
It's should looks like:

2. if #1 doesn't help for new events - disable AcuPick for that camera (AI->AI Parameters->Smart Plan->AcuPick), select only IVS..

3. How You enabled Detection - in SMD or IVS menu?

Show screen shot of AI -> AI Parameters -> IVS for that channel..

Hi @wittaj I captured a few screen shots from both GUI and NVR settings (below). I'm not sure if this is configured correctly, is there something I need to change so it's not leaving that 2-3 second gap in continuously recording.

Disable AcuPick as mentioned. Only thing that should be ticked is IVS

Also, are you certain its skipping recording? or just in live viewing?

Can you post a short clip showing it skipping?
