IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3: IVS Tripwire Notifications

Hi I just got the IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 camera and NV41AI-8P-4KH .

I have setup the IVS on the camera (on the Camera GUI) and it works well and i get notifications. But I only receive IVS notifications in DMSS app while on my home wifi. I don't get the notifications while on my cellular.

Any ideas on how to enable notifications on cellular data?

You have to use their P2P (enable P2P on the NVR) and sign up in the app for an account and be logged in

Also wondering is there a way to download the IVS Tripwire video clip on DMSS app?

Yes but a lot of steps

1- choose playback then Smart AI, date, and the camera

2- Move slider to clip you want to download. Start playback.


3- click the icon at bottom to view clip thimbnails

4 choose thumbnail clip, start and hit the

5- this will save it

6- then go to “me” on main screen and you will find it in “My Files”

Once I hot the playback, i don't see the events listed in the search.

The IVS video notifications are there and I can play it. But they don't appear in the search.







On the NVR, I can go to AI section and search under IVS and found the clips, but on the search/Recording side, it's all black.

lol. Same situation in the NVR. On the AI section when i search for IVS events, i can see the clips. But in the Search/Record section where you see recording, none of this gets tagged as AI, I just have full length continuous recording.

I have another question? Is there a way to access the recorded video file on the NVR? Say for example if I want to copy 1 days worth of recording on my NAS?


Also save the tipwwire video snippets without recording them on the phone again?

If you're recording to the NVR then, given how much HD capacity you have on it, yes you can pull recorded video from the NVR. Thats kinda one of its main purposes.

Typically they are recorded in 1 hour chuncks, events/IVS are usually 10-20 seconds. Will be hard to get if theres a lot of them. Its a manual process. Also look into using SmartpSS Lite to View/Playback/Download clips. Its much better than the NVR interface
