I have IPC-T5442T-ZE connected to a router. I navigated my browser to and verified the camera is set for SD card recording. However when I try to play from the SD card there is no recording. What am I missing?

Try changing to smart plan and IVS and then have someone walk in front of the camera while you watch the screen and confirm you get the box around them and it triggers. I am wondering if your sensitivity and thresholds are wrong and it isn't actually triggering to record.

I tired smart plan and IVS and nothing. I have the cam on my desk pointed at me and I move and wave. Is it suppose to write a continuous stream to the SD card?

I have no problems with my SD card recordings.

All of your settings are the same as mine except the Pre-Event Record under Storage/Record Control, I have 3 you have 5, and under Schedule/Record I do not have the green bars, only the yellow and red.

My card is a SanDisk High Endurance 128GB card.

You might try and formatting the card all over again.

Oh that is why probably - the camera needs to be able to identify a human and you are too close doing it that way. Walk away and back. It will not trigger that close unless you are walking up to it and it can identify it is a human and then trigger.

The card failed during formatting while in the camera so I ordered a new card. Thank you all for help.

yes, i was going to suggest showing us the 'storage' SD card page, which would have told us the card was not seen/formatted.

sometime, if you format the card in your PC first, it'll then work in the cam...

That was shown in the very first post.

Nope - set-up the IVS and what not in the camera GUI and then just let the NVR record based on the triggers that the camera gives it.
