IPC-T5442T-ZE and zooming via PTZ buttons

I was able to set zoom on mine IPC-T5442T-ZEs via BlueIris PTZ buttons, and I was able to do that also via UI3. But since few weeks clicking on + - buttons does nothing, in BI UI, or in UI3. I am now on version 5.6.2.4. I didn't change any setting in my cameras or in Blue Iris. Can someone else confirm that?
 
Have youi been zooming continuosly?

The 5442 has zoom purely to help you find the correct forcal length for your situation. Its designed to be one time zoom, set and forget. It isn't designed to be used as a way of getting a closer look when you spot something. If you've been using it like a PTZ then it's possible you have damaged / burnt out the cameras zoom motors.
 
No, I haven't been zooming continuously. And zoom is working properly via camera web interface. Sometimes I just wanted to see wider FOV when I'm away from home.. Can someone with 5442 ZE check this?

Just one of the many reasons to not update BI unless it is adding something you want. If this version didn't add anything you needed, then rollback a version!
