Hi everyone.

First Post so please be nice . I'm currently interested in Dahua IPC-HFW4239T-ASE-0360 cameras. I've done some research on this forum and believe that these will be best suited for my situation. Has anyone used these cameras and have any ideas how good/bad they are. I've done a search and nothing seems to come up about them.

I have quite a small house and don't need ones with major range. Max I would need would be approximately 50 feet. I have motion PIR lights near where I would be potentially installing these cameras so hopefully that won't affect them to much. I'm looking at getting the two cameras. Would these cameras be a good choice?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Welcome, study this: Cliff Notes.
For night vision, consider these two:
(20) Review-OEM IPC-T3241-ZAS 2mp AI Lite series Varifocal | IP Cam Talk
Review-OEM 4mp AI Cam IPC-T5442TM-S Starlight+ | IP Cam Talk

Hi both many thanks for your suggestions. I'm in the process of reading the cliff notes. There's a lot of information to take in and a lot of new abbreviations for me to learn but I'm looking forward to it.
Appreciate the suggestions on both cameras but I probably should of stated. Im after a bullet style camera instead of the turret or dome style.

Cheers

I would prefer that if I'm able to, but it's not going to be a deciding factor. I would much prefer to get the right camera. And if that means paying more for delivery and having to wait longer for delivery than I'm OK with that.

The 5442 series has bullets both fixed and variable focus. All 4 of these are 5442 bullets

.

I just watched this YouTube video between the one you suggested and the original camera I was looking at. I have attached the link. Both look very good cameras but if anything the original camera might look better? Or am I being silly and missing something here?
