IPC HDW5442TMP-AS-LED - NAS - SFTP test failure

Hello,

IPC HDW5442TMP-AS-LED does not write to the Synology NAS device.



logged in successfully but does not write:



User permission sftp for DAHUA is activated:



File rights "surveilance" read and write for DAHUA activated:



IP from Camera is not blocked.
No change in Security mode or compatible Mode.

Does anyone have a solution?

What's the level 1 directory ("device ip")?
Is that the actual folder where the files will be written?
Does this folder already exist?
Does the dahua account have write permission to this directory?

Im pretty sure your issue is the folder/user rights on the Syno. Advise you post or read docs on how to enable remote sftp write access from the syno community.

For one Dahua camera only, I get success on test, it creates the camera folder, but nothing is ever created inside, for the other cameras, they work, but I got them setup a while back and I don't remember the Voodoo I did to get them working.
