So I am struggling with the IPC-HDW5231R-ZE cameras, and I am sure it is my own fault. I have a mixture of several models of cameras, and currently even my super cheap china cameras do well at night, and the video from these is almost useless.
So I have them hooked up to a NVR5232-16P-4KS2E NVR. It doesn't have a lot in the way of settings. The cameras are just running the firmware they shipped with.
1. How can I access the cameras through the NVR, or can I even do that. My own network is on a 10.10.x.x private subnet. My NVR then plugs directly into the router. The cameras currently all are on a 192.168.X.X subnet. I have in the past had them both on the same, but still could never get to the cameras.
2. Is there a best recommended settings for those cameras ? I take it you have to do the config on the camera, as it doesn't seem like any NVR settings help. Or maybe it is cause I need a better firmware.
Any links to things to read, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I understand these are supposed to be amazing cameras.
Thanks in advance.
