I successfully applied this to my IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M-2.8mm.

Having said that, it's a bummer that we still cannot view images/video through the Chrome browser. @EMPIRETECANDY do you think they'll ever update the web UI?

Hi Andy - I just upgraded the firmware on my dual lens camera (4231F-E2). Unfortunately, I'm now getting to completely overexposed, almost white images. It also doesn't change anything if I e.g. flip the image 90/180 degrees or mirror. The picture stays the same crazy white. Any ideas how I might be able to fix this? I already tried the full factory reset and power cycle.

Ok, I downgraded to the .35.R firmware you had posted here: IPC-HDBW4231F-E2-M Dual lens Firmware

That one works. It might be related to PAL/NTSC - the original firmware I had was PAL (limited to 25 frames/s), although bought from Andy via Amazon.com. The .36.R firmware also rebooted a lot - I was worried I'd not be able to complete a firmware upload between reboots.
