I am wondering which is the dauha equilvalent of the IP8M-2496E/B.

i'm straggling to find some good setting for frigate

Thanks

You're gonna struggle with an 8MP camera on a 1/2,7" sensor thats made for 2MP. Not a great match

The 5842 series is going to be closest, with an upgraded 1/1.8" sensor, which is still a bit undersized. But should be a good nighttime improvement.

The king of low light is the 1/1.2" 4K cameras, the downside is they dont have and cant see IR light. So you need to have good external light.
The bullet is better than the turret due to small FOV focus issues

Man you know cameras!!!

I am wondering which $50-$100 camera (maybe amcrest equivalent) do you suggest to buy with IR light and which one you suggest with no IR light?

Thanks

John

$50-$100 cameras are not going to perform well at night. They use cheaper sensors and shove too many MP on the sensors designed for much less MP, thus compounding the problem even more.
