All of a sudden my BI5 app won’t connect. “Trouble accessing server” error.
I can get to my UI3 page with no issues at all.

App debug log shows this:

2022-24-01 18:38:29: didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
2022-24-01 18:39:12: didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
2022-24-01 18:39:13: didChangeAuthorizationStatus: 3
2022-24-01 18:41:9: didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
2022-24-01 18:41:10: didChangeAuthorizationStatus: 3
2022-24-01 19:25:10: didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
2022-24-01 19:55:8: didFinishLaunchingWithOptions
2022-24-01 19:55:9: didChangeAuthorizationStatus: 3

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions to troubleshoot.

The blue iris DDNS server is down. enter the ip and port manually in your app or use another service.

What’s weird is that it still works on my Ipad but not working on IPhone. When do you think it will be back up?

Is there any update on this? My iphone is having the same problem where it won't connect, but I can access the web page using Chrome on my phone and login that way with no issues.

According to notes on the recent updates, there was some updates to ios certificate, so if you are running an older version, try updating to the one that mentioned the ios update.

Still no luck. I updated from 5.5.4.5 to 5.5.5.1 and it didn't help at all. I even went into the iOS app and did "Forget Server" and added all my info again without success. I guess I'll go ahead and just reach out to Blue Iris support. If I can get it sorted out, I'll report back.

Update - I hadn't heard back from Blue Iris Support yet so I was looking through the forum to see if anyone else had reported the issue, and lo and behold, I found the fix. My iOS app must have updated itself and apparently the local network setting for Blue Iris was toggled off for some strange reason. I flipped it back to enabled and everything works again!
