Any pointers and tips on drilling and securing the cameras?

use water while drilling so you don't smoke the bit.

Plan on junction boxes so you can keep your exterior holes small and complete wiring inside junction box.

If the stone is not flat assure you seal everything up tight since water will be getting behind your camera and or junction box.

Z-d has good points. Also, watch some YouTube videos. Sometimes watching shows things that are hard to catch from reading instructions and hints. "Drilling stone" or "drilling stone and stucco" etc are good starting search points.

Tapcon... at Lowes or HD... work beautifully won't need any lubricant although hammer drill is recommended

Looked at some YouTube videos and picked up some Tapcon screws. No hammer drill so I'll take my time with the regular rotary.
