Installing BI on drive other than boot drive

Has anyone tried installing the BI program on a non bootable drive on Win 10? There is an option on Win 10 to install all programs on <pick your attached storage device>?

I have it selected now so all programs will install on a SSD drive that I have. So far I have only installed one program and it runs fine. I have not uninstalled BI from C drive and reinstalled it on the D drive yet.

You should install the OS and blue iris on the SSD.
